My Beginning Post was a list of our fun vacations for our anniversaries and I noticed, I didn't put the last 3 years:) Wow, can I remember the last 3anniversaries....
10th Anniversary-we had 2 trips. June we went to a MotoGP race in Laguna Seca California. It was a fun trip driving up and down the cost seeing where Dan spent some years. Our 2nd trip was a cruise with the church "The Tour of the Apostles" starting in Rome, Italy then to several other ports which right now I don't have time to look up! I know I should remember right, but my mind doesn't work so good these days. I would swear I'm an old lady. (Oh, it was my year to pick a movie and we went to 2 while we were down in California because I couldn't decide which one I wanted to see more!)
11th Anniversary-we had a baby Beverly so this was the 1st year we didn't go on a big trip. We went to a movie Dan's pick, my dad and Linda watched Beverly and we came rushing back to pick her up after the movie ended:) Both of us missed her. Then in September, we took our 1st family vacation down the Oregon Coast to visit my Grandma for her Birthday! An adventure for sure~Bevi doesn't like carseats at all and still doesn't to this day.
12th Anniversary-we went to our annual movie. My pick this year, but what did we watch I can't remember:( boo I always try to write them down, but again my mind is failing so I will have to ask Dan another day if I remember;). We also went on a family campout on our actual anniversary to someplace in Oregon with the Davison's side of the family. Another crazy road trip we were lost for hours with 3 kids!! We had my brother's daughters with us which turned out to be a lifesaver. Aylah's cell phone was the only one with reception!! I mean hours up on back dirt roads without cell reception!! The trip was supposed to take 5 1/2hrs, but ended up taking us at least 8hrs. We were hungry, hadn't peed, had a lady yell at us (she was afraid we wanted to camp by her. When really we just wanted to turn around which proved to be very difficult with her big scary dogs barking at us.) Bevi is screaming and wants out the carseat and Dan wants me to back him up. Is he crazy! I'm not getting out of the car with big scary dogs. So the mean lady finally realized what was going on and she came over and helped. I think she was relieved we weren't going to camp by her! and Dan was super upset at my sister Amber for her directions. Which really we forgot the directions at home on the computer desk. Oops!! What a fun trip-he vowed never to go on another trip my sister has planned. I'm sure he will change his mind, but it might take a bit!
I wish I could give you more details on the fun adventures on each trip, but I wasn't good like my mom and took notes. I thought I could remember it, but sadly nope. Overall, each trip has been fun and yes full of adventure!
